Hello, my name is Lorraine Jones and I'm the creative force behind The Lilac Tree Bridal, designing heirloom-inspired accessories for brides who cherish craftsmanship and individuality. I trained as a fashion designer and was fortunate to work with some of the world’s most iconic luxury brands — Burberrys, Loro Piana in Italy, Alan Paine, and Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. But over time, I found myself longing for something slower, more meaningful — something deeply personal.

So, why bridal couture accessories? Why a bridal headdress atelier?

In truth, it all unfolded quite naturally. I was asked to design wedding dresses for a few close friends — a blend of sheer joy and absolute terror, watching them walk down the aisle in something I’d created.

Then something magical happened.

I was gifted my grandmother’s tiara and veil, dating back to 1938. I was spellbound. The detail, the craftsmanship, the story woven into each stitch and sparkle — it stirred something deep within me.

I’ve always had a love for vintage fashion, and through bridal accessories, I discovered a way to marry that passion with storytelling — creating modern heirlooms that speak to the heart. I began designing bespoke pieces for brides who wanted to weave the past into their present — their “something old” lovingly entwined into something entirely new.

There is a quiet kind of magic in creating something by hand — something that becomes part of a love story.

In 2003, I founded The Lilac Tree, and ever since, I’ve been honoured to create handcrafted adornments for brides across the world. Whether you fall in love with one of my signature designs or dream of something bespoke, I would be privileged to create a piece that’s truly yours.

Every accessory is made by hand in my studio, using only the finest crystals, pearls, and materials. The delicate clay flowers in many of my designs are sculpted petal by petal — with care, intention, and time.
